Child & Youth Development

At Dream Big Stay Humble, we recognize that investing in the holistic development of children and youth is essential for building thriving communities. Our Child & Youth Development Program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and opportunities for growth to children and young people from diverse backgrounds. Through a range of educational, recreational, and empowerment initiatives, we aim to nurture their potential, instil confidence, and foster a sense of belonging.

1. Youth of Africa

Overview:

In partnership with Caring Hands of Africa and Bolt pty ltd, an initiative called ‘Youth Of Africa’ was born to change the narrative adopted by the stale status quo. The reason behind ‘YOA’ is to end the stigmas attached to HIV and certain sexually transmitted infections. This project aims to uplift and empower the youth to break free from social constraints. ‘YOA’ wants the youth to embrace getting tested and to not be ashamed of getting tested.

  • Vukuzakhe High School.
  • Umlazi Primary and Umlazi Secondary.
  • Zwelethu Secondary School.
  • The Reunion Special School.

2. TFT x Dream Big Stay Humble: Career Expo

Overview:

In partnership with multiple established companies and institutions such as the International Hotel School, Zaio Coding School, Old Mutual, SAICA and Boston City Campus we brought the knowledge and insight to the students of Acudeo College. They had access to information regarding specific careers and guidance on how to pursue their desired careers from industry experts that were present at the Expo.
